Presentation Guidelines

Oral Presentation

Regular oral presentation should last 15 minutes followed by a 5-minute period for questions. Invited speakers are allocated with 40-minute time slot for their presentation followed by a 5-minute period for questions. The session halls are equipped with modern AV technology including the presentation PC supporting presentations in .ppt, pptx, and .pdf -formats. The speakers should arrive to the hall 15 minutes before the session and upload the presentation from an USB memory stick or CD-rom.

Poster Presentation

For poster session, authors are asked to adapt the maximum poster size of A0 standard, 841 mm (w) × 1189 mm (h). The poster session is held in parallel with the welcome reception at the Micronova building. The authors are asked to set up their posters at least half an hour before the beginning of the reception. Accessories to attach the poster will be provided by the conference staff. A poster template for MS-PowerPoint can be downloaded from below. The template is given as a general guideline, and following it is optional. However, the use of e.g. separate A4-sheets is discouraged.
